Video: Museum Plaza Proposal by OMA

OMA is always bold, often controversial, yet continuously manages to push the envelop of large scale contemporary architecture. This animation is a nice presentation for a design of a mixed use mega complex in Louisville, Kentucky. The final building will offer offices, residences, commercial space, a contemporary art museum, education and leisure facilities. Aiming to challenge the preconceptions of an urban development this multi use structure aims to draw people back to the downtown district while giving the city a new iconic landmark. Construction is planned to begin soon.
